There were some interesting items on the table this morning…hmmm…what could these things be for?
Miss C shared her final morning message with the class.
Then, after recess, Miss C took the class and all of those interesting items up to Loutet Park. She put the kids in groups and challenged them to use the items to build something together using the trees around them.

hula hoops
lots of string and clips
working together, things started to take shape
this picture is special because the words that were being spoken at this moment were, "do you want to join our group?"
The groups all decided to pool their resources and see what they could build together.
Some kids started making a very cool spider web.
Then we got distracted by a gigantic worm!!!

Miss C read us a story at the park.
Then, when we came back to the classroom, we were all very excited so we did some yoga to calm ourselves down.
