Sneaky Keys

We played a game together today called "sneaky keys". We hide the keys under a chair and the person in the chair has to close his/her eyes. Somebody takes the keys and then we all put our hands behind our backs to see if the person on the chair can guess who took the keys. Everyone had a turn today...although I don't think I managed to take a photo of everyone. It was lots of fun and we got to practice making sure that we know everyone's names.

More patterns....our patterns are evolving and becoming more complicated!

We had a lovely gift of "fall" today. One of our classroom moms made some amazingly fragrant play dough (cinnamon) and some sticks and rocks and leaves to create with. Such a treat....thank you!

Being inspired by fall pumpkins.

hard at work

We are NOT going to do sharing next week. Because we are just getting started on our letters, we have not been able to spend enough time working on our Bs yet, so we will spend one more week on B and will look at C the following week.

Reminder, Monday is Orange Shirt day. I believe there is information on the School District website if you're looking for more information.

Have a great weekend.

One More

Here's one more photo that somehow didn't make it onto the last post....

Running for Terry

We participated in the Terry Fox Run this afternoon. There was a little bit of uncertainty leading up to the run, but once we were there, the kids were ready to run! I tried my best to get a photo of everyone, but some of these kids ran so fast I missed them!
