Building, Sharing and Infinitus.

This group was so proud of that fact that they used every block in the basket.  They worked together so well, talking about their plan and agreeing before making any changes.  And, totally unrelated, I think their picture posing skills are really developing too!

Another group worked really well together this morning too.  One student decided that he wanted to be inside the structure and the rest of the kids took it from there.

Here are the items that were shared for "special sharing" today.  I think there are one or two students who have yet to share.  They can share their items whenever they bring them in.

This afternoon we were treated with a performance from a string trio called Infinitus.  Wow, were they ever good!  They explained a great deal about music (pitch, dynamics, rhythm and more) all while entertaining us with some well known modern pieces of music, some classical pieces and some unfamiliar tunes.  They also did a few cool "mash ups" with two songs worked together in the same piece.  They encouraged us to listen to the stories that the music told and gave us the chance to share what we thought the stories were.  The performance was fantastic and the kids looked like they really enjoyed it.
