Today's math centres.....
that's a lot of counting!
Some of the kids played "What time is it Mr. Wolf?"....lots of good counting practice!
This afternoon, we had our first turn with the iPads. We explored two apps: Bugs and Buttons and Bugs and Numbers. Both explore different math concepts. The kids did a great job!
We also took turns putting the finishing touches on our "Frightful Frankensteins". They are hanging in the classroom now. Come and take a look when you get a chance.

Some of the kids wanted to write stories today, so I did a lot of stapling pages together. So much excitement!
Our classmate shared an awesome craft that he made at home with us today. I encouraged others to bring in a cardboard tube if they would like to give it a try during centre time.
