We went to our 4th and final math centre today, practicing the strategies we have been learning with our "ten frames".

The morning, we had our first "Buddy Time".  The grade 3 and 4 students from Mrs. Mitchell's class came down to our class so we could meet them.  The big kids did an art project earlier in the week that they came and taught to us.  Half of us went back to Mrs. Mitchell's classroom to work with our buddies and the other half stayed in our classroom. We drew Frankensteins and then we outlined them with black marker.

I managed to sneak up to Mrs. Mitchell's classroom to take a few photos there too....

Then, at centre time, we painted the green part of our Frankenstein portraits.  We will finish them next week.  They are looking spooktacular!
