Phew, it was a hot one today! We started the day running Kilometre Club early to try and beat the heat. This worked well, there was a nice breeze and it wasn't too hot for running. Luckily our km Club time is 9:00 am tomorrow too. I asked each child to run with his/her water bottle. Many of the kids refilled their water bottles multiple times today. They should be well hydrated (which is also resulting in many, many trips to the bathroom….oh well!) Here are a few photos of us hard at work during centre time today. We kept the lights off and tried to stay as cool as possible!
Our bean seeds seem to really like the hot weather. When we came in this morning we noticed lots of changes. These will most likely be coming home tomorrow or Wednesday so that they can be planted in real soil and continue to grow, grow, grow!

Finally, please check your child's backpack tonight for this field trip form. We are going to be going to Viewlynn Water Park for a bit of a year-end celebration on the 27th. We are looking for parent drivers. Please indicate on the form if you are able to help out. Families are welcome!
