Big Ben in blocks
On this rainy, rainy day, we went outside to watch the digger dig up the school's time capsule.
During centre time, we noticed that the time capsule was being opened up in the space behind our classroom so we went outside to take a look.
We found out that the time capsule didn't age so well over the last 25 years. It seems that something caused the outside case to bend and crack and the contents became filled with water. We saw an audio tape and talked a bit about what it did and how it worked. But as you can see, it's not in great shape.
Here's what the opened case looks like (that's a glove on the ground, by the way)

the sludgy inside
All of the contents were laid out in the gym and we had a walk through. So many of the pieces were on paper, that the students back then created.
another look at the capsule
