We had a little farewell celebration for Miss Maria this afternoon. We are going to miss her so much and have so enjoyed learning with her. We gave her our cards and she was so surprised to receive such a thoughtful gift from all of the families.
Some students brought in some gifts.
And then Miss Maria opened her gift from the class.
Everyone signed his/her name on the inside cover of this book.
Then we ate some "hug" cookies.
Then some of us had some real life hugs.
Miss Maria spent some time with each of the students, reading a card she had written to them. So special!
Then a few students needed to have their creations documented !
We have one more day together. Tomorrow is Fun Day. Please consider the weather (sunscreen and hats if sunny, raincoats and boots if rainy). Our day will start and end at the regular times tomorrow.
