It wouldn't be a blog post without some building pictures. I have daily requests to take a photo and "put it on the blog"…so here they are!
This morning we went into the gym for a Recognition Assembly. This is a chance for us to showcase some of the great work that is done at the school. Most of the recognition goes to older students because they tend to be the ones involved in most leadership roles and sports teams. I think it's really important for all of the students to see that we value the contributions to the school community. It helps us express gratitude and it also shows the younger students what they can aspire to do sometime soon. We also watched an older class play a song for us and at the end, we all sang a song about Brooksbank School.
