Morning building, an awesome band and photo day

We started the day with some amazing building again today.  Such cooperation and collaboration.  And of course, a lot of requests for photos….so here they are!

look what we found underneath the sand table….the case of the missing chick has been solved!

clean up time was so quick and so well done that everyone was on the happy face!  What a great way to start the day!

This morning we went into the gym to watch a high school band from Canmore, Alberta perform for us.

The musicians were from grade 9 to 12.  The first group to perform was the concert band.  They played 3 pieces.  Their final piece was a medley from the movie "Frozen", definitely the highlight of the performance.

Then the musicians moved around and the Jazz band performed for us.

During the last piece, we got up and danced!

After the performance we went outside and got ready for the school panorama photo.  Because we were among the first classes to get into place, we had to be very patient and wait for all of the other classes to get into place.  It's a good thing we practiced keeping our feelings and energy in the "green zone" yesterday.
