Elmer and Splattering Paint

Tomorrow is T sharing day!

Today, we had a visit from our favorite safety elephant, Elmer!  He taught us all about bicycle safety.  We learned how our helmets should fit, that we should walk our bikes across the road, how to bike safely on the sidewalk and many other ways to stay safe on our bikes.

We reviewed signs that help us stay safe.

Elmer's friend Ruff even came along to remind us that it's important not to try and carry anything in our hands while we're biking.

Then, before the rain rolls in again, Miss C took the kids out for a bit of splatter painting.  Apologies in advance for some splatters on shoes and hair!  We did our best to cover the kids up! Each student splattered on his/her own piece of paper and contributed to a group piece.  They had a great time!
