10km Ribbons and Maplewood Farm!

First of all, Division 16 would like to extend a HUGE thank you to all of the parents who came along on our field trip to Maplewood Farm today.  Without you, these kinds of wonderful learning opportunities would not be possible and for that, we are so grateful!

We started the day celebrating all of our kilometer club successes at a ribbon assembly.  I'm so proud to say that everyone in our class earned a 10km ribbon today!

 Then it was off to the farm!  We had a great afternoon exploring all there was to see at the farm.  The bunnies were not too interested in coming out and meeting the Brooksbank kids, but the goats were pretty happy to see us!  We watched a Jersey Cow being milked…so interesting!  And Mother Nature decided to be kind and shine some sunlight on us while we were there!
