Today was another great day. We had a fire drill this morning (I didn't manage to take a photo but the class did so well!). It was our first one of the year. We spent a lot of time talking about what we do when we hear the fire alarm and why we do it. There were some nervous kids in the class who needed lots of reassurance, but everyone handled the whole drill beautifully. It might be a good idea to talk with your kids tonight and see how they felt and what they remember from the drill.
We completed our third and final math centre of the week. Here's a look at what we did today....
Some of us were playing statues outside this afternoon. You can't tell from this photo, but these kids were standing like this for a looooong time!
