Remembrance Day Assembly

This morning, after recess, we attended our first Remembrance Day Assembly.  All of the intermediate classes presented during the assembly (a song, a dance, a play, a poem).  I was SO proud of the kids in our class.  They watched respectfully and with great interest.  They sang O Canada, participated in a moment of silence and sang a song with the rest of the Brooksbank students at the end of the assembly.

The assembly started with students in Cubs/Beavers/Scouts/Guides/Brownies/Sparks entering the gym.

We listened to the choir sing songs.

We watched a shadow play.

We sang "With My Own Two Hands"

The assembly was a long one. We sat still and quiet and then we got outside and PLAYED!

Have a wonderful weekend.  Please remember that there is no school tomorrow (Remembrance Day) and Monday (District Professional Development Day).  See you all on Tuesday.
