Here are a few photos of our Monday morning building:
Some kids finished up their feeling work from last week….they looked at some funny flash cards and worked to explain where those feelings would be on our mood meter. This is one of our favorites….ants in my pants!
After recess, Miss C introduced her family unit with a powerpoint presentation called "could this be a family?" There was a series of photos of different people (and even some animals) and we were asked to answer the question, "could this be a family?" by showing a red card (meaning no) and a green card (meaning yes). Then we had a really good conversation about whether or not we thought the image showed a family. I know it's hard to see the images on the tv screen in the photos, but you can see how the kids answered.

then, after looking at those photos, some of the kids in the class shared their family photos and talked about what makes their family special
