We had a few minutes in between other activities, so we took out the math tubs and had 5 minutes of pattern building. It's exciting to see how the kids are making more elaborate patterns now.
We drew in our journals for the first time today. One of the goals of our journal writing time is for the kids to understand that stories can be told with pictures, with written words (that I scribe for the kids) and orally. They did a great job, adding lots of colours and details to really show information in their pictures.
I wasn't able to get a photo f all the orange shirts today, but I took a couple of pictures during our iPad time that show the "sea" of orange.
