Morning building
We had a few moments to build patterns after we did some cutting and gluing work (I didn't take photos of that because I was busy making sure that scissors were being used correctly. Please look in your child's home envelope and see what we did today.
You may notice a theme with the pattern building...there seems to be a lot of black and orange...I think we are starting to get excited for Halloween!
I'm challenging kids to try to explore different kinds of patterns now (moving on from a,b,a,b patterns).

Some students brought in items beginning with C for sharing this week. I didn't send a reminder so not everyone brought something. I told the kids that they are more than welcome to bring something tomorrow if they didn't bring something today. For next week, we are going to take a week off from sharing because we have some catching up to do before we are ready to move on to the letter D.
