Sharing, Sorting and Skeletons

I don't know what happened, but my pictures are all out of order today....the sharing pictures were from yesterday and the sorting and skeleton pictures are from today.

An email came home this afternoon about Conference sign ups.  Because we have already met for intake conferences and meet the teacher night, these conferences are not necessary at this time (for Kindergarten students).  I have times available if you would like to come in for a conference but please do not feel obligated to sign up.

Today, we moved around the classroom to 4 different sorting stations.  The kids worked with different materials and sorted however they wished.  When I came around, they told me how they were sorting, what the sorting rule was.

Miss Cecchini (our UBC teacher candidate) was here for her second day today.  She spent the day getting to know the kids by calling them over and doing a halloween art project with each of them individually.  They turned out so well.  Come and take a look in the classroom if you get a chance.

More sorting....
