We Did It!

Well, here we are...the last day of Kindergarten.  It seems like only a minute has gone by since I welcomed these amazing kids into the classroom.  Oh how they've grown and changed.  I am proud of the caring, empathetic, funny, smart, quirky, generous, interesting people they are.  I feel like we had the "dream team" this year....fantastic kids and the most supportive families.  Thank you for being such a "chill" group of Kindergarten parents.  Thank you for trusting us to care for your most precious children during the day.  I am sad to say good-bye to you all but also excited to watch these little people grow and blossom in the years to come.  Thank you again for the generous gift, and for all the thoughtful cards and lovely sentiments.  I am blessed!

Here are some photos of our last day together.

We drew pictures of us on our last day of Kindergarten.

Here are some photos of us on our last day....it might be fun to compare them with our "first day of kindergarten" photos.

Ms Frogley helped us learn to be present as she gave us a present.  She asked us to all close our eyes and she gave each person a special stone.  This stone, when you look into it carefully, shows your reflection.  We looked into the stone and told ourselves "I am the way I am meant to be, I am perfect as I am".  She asked the kids to put these stones somewhere special and to look into them whenever they feel they need to.

We had fun with balloons and bubbles in the afternoon.

Have a fantastic summer.  I can't wait to hear about all of your adventures when we see each other again in September!
