Flying Comets!

I haven't shown you any photos of Yoga lately, so I thought I'd show you some of the things that Ms Frogley has been teaching us.  Here we are warming up our bodies and stretching out our sides.

A new pose we learned today was Dancer.  It takes a lot of concentration and balance.

We had a repeat guest reader today.  The excitement continues and it's fantastic!

This afternoon, we noticed the big kids headed towards the grass field carrying all kinds of interesting things, so we asked them if we could come and see what they were doing.  It turns out that they made comets (yes, you heard that right...comets!) earlier in the day and were going to the field to launch the comets into space (or at least into the air).  They worked in groups to devise something that would act as a launcher and today was test day.

Here is Mrs Dolan showing us the comet (they used dry ice and other "ingredients" to replicate a comet).

watching and waiting

One group had to go and get another bicycle pump, so we ran across the field while we waited.

So interesting and fun to watch!
