I'm blogging early today because I have a meeting after school. Here's what we have been doing this morning.
Yesterday, the kids drew these amazing patterned mittens and today we are working in pairs to paint them. About half the class has had a turn so far and we will keep working until everyone has painted. They are stunning!

We worked at another math centre today.
Here's a photo of the one I didn't manage to take a photo of last time. The kids put the numbers 0-10 in order and then choose a card that has a number equation on it. They figure out the answer to the number equation (mentally or using manipulatives) and then match the card with the answer card.

We have tennis this afternoon and again on Friday.
