A little bit of morning building greatness....
Today, we worked on another way to represent numbers, looking at 10s and ones. The kids matched picture representations with the numerals (form 10-19). This was something I wanted to introduce but wasn't really sure if the kids were ready for the concept. I was prepared to give lots of support during the activity but was so surprised when most of the kids were able to understand the concept and complete the activity independently, or with a little bit of support. Amazing!
We have a tennis lesson tomorrow. Our last tennis class is on Thursday this week.
Also, please remember that Friday is a Curriculum Implementation Day which means no school for students.
