It is the 70th day of school and we made a new bundle of 10 today during calendar, now we have 7 bundles of 10 (70) to represent each day in school. Then one of the kids reminded me that we did a conga line to celebrate our 60th day....sooooo....we did the conga down the hallway singing "cha cha cha cha cha, 70!

We started an art project today but I was so busy working with kids I didn't manage to take any photos. I'll take some tomorrow when we're further along in the process. We also wrote and drew in our journals today and showed some of the things we know about animals in winter. We've been reading lots of stories about what some animals do when the weather is cold. Ask your child about hibernation, migration and adaptation.
Tomorrow is Mm sharing day. Please help your child bring something to show beginning with Mm. We are also scheduled to have tennis tomorrow (it was postponed today because Marcus was sick). Oh speaking of being sick, many kids were coughing today and just seemed "under the weather", hopefully a good night's sleep will help everyone feel better tomorrow.
