This afternoon, we went into the gym to attend our first assembly of the year. We had a visit from the Earth ranger team and they taught us all about how to help the Earth, more specifically, how to help wild animals.
We watched a few video clips and then we got to see some real live animals and learn a bit about them.

this is Hugo the skunk (and yes, his scent glands have been removed...phew!)
we were able to watch him eat, there was a camera in front of him that projected a closer view onto the screen
this is a peregrine falcon
And this is a kestrel. We watched him fly from one end of the gym and back again. So cool!
