H Sharing and Counting Game

Here are some of our Hh sharing items…..

Harold the Helicopter (another double H!)

 Then, later, Miss Cochrane taught us a new math game, Race to the Biggest Pile.  Kids worked in pairs and took turned rolling a die.  Then, they would count out that number of items.  For example, if a 4 was rolled, the student would take 4 blocks.  Then the partner would take a turn and so on.  After a few minutes, the partners compared their piles to see who had the larger pile.  Super fun and a great way to practice counting and comparing.
