Some Excitement!

A crew came today to fill in the area of the school ground that was recently dug up to install the portable. We had a little look at what they were doing on our way outside.

Then, we watched again on our way back in. Funny story, one of the kids said, "it smells like gas" then another said, "I like the smell of gas" then another said, "my dad is gassy".  And these are the moments that make me love my job even more!

Some kids have taken to making kites in the afternoon.  Today, some of them went outside to test them out (I know they're not wearing coats, they were only out for a short time....promise!)

Here's a look at our latest art project. They are in the hallway for you to see, but I thought I'd I've you a little "sneak peek".

And here are our finished fishies!

I'm just about to send an email about all of the upcoming December events. Please make sure you take a look.

Fishy Friday

I love that the kids ask me to take their photos in the morning. They are proud of the work they do and eager to share it with others!

Ms Cecchini worked with the kids today to finish up their fish artwork and we started another art project that should be up in the hallway next week.  I didn't manage to take photos of that because I was busy circulating and helping kids. So, stay tuned for photos of the finished projects!

Not all the fish are up on the wall yet. Some still need to have their eyes attached. But enjoy the ones that are finished! I'll post more photos next week.

Have a great weekend!

Just a Few...

I didn't manage to take too many photos today. Here's a little look at our morning building. We had a busy day, full of activities, I just didn't manage to capture any for the blog.

A Bit of H Sharing

Oh we had another amazing morning together where everyone was busy and engaged in an activity. Many of the kids were working together in small groups towards a common goal.  It was so lovely to watch!

This little tower was hiding behind the big tower in the previous picture.

Here's some H sharing:

Also, please make sure that kids are prepared for rainy weather every day.
