My son's baseball team is in the playoffs and they keep winning so I have had very little time to post photos this week! (Go Cardinals!) Next week, things should be back to normal!

Some great building this week.....
We had two guest readers on Thursday and one on Friday. If the kids have a book that they have been practicing at home that they would like to read to the class, there are a couple of times each day that they can do that. We are going to let everyone who wants a turn go first and then if others want to read a second time, we will do that if there is no-one else waiting for a first turn.
These kids did such a great job, reading with enthusiasm and expression (so impressive). I think you can see from the photos that they really enjoyed themselves. So did the audience!

Today we did some dancing in the class. This is the beanbag boogie. We listened to the song and followed the lyrics....it was so much fun!
We did some other dances today too, but I was too busy dancing to take photos.

So, when you dance in the classroom, it spills over into the playground. We were walking down to the playground and I looked behind me and discovered a spontaneous conga line! So funny!
