Sharing and Plant Observations

Here's a look at our "Z" sharing.... (Heads up, next week will be "th" sharing)

This morning, we took a look at our bean seeds to see how they are growing.  We took them to our tables to have a very close look and then drew what we saw in our plant journals.

When we were finished our plant work, we moved to the carpet to work on math tubs.  Many of the kids worked together to build "the longest pattern ever".  It's tricky to see just how long it is in the pictures, but it is looooonnnnnngggg!

We have a grade 1 friend who loves to write and is eager to help others become writers.  2 kids from our class volunteered to work with her this afternoon and they practiced printing letters and words.

This is a picture of a lotus flower.  During our yoga sessions with Miss Frogley, we learned what makes a lotus flower interesting....do you know?
