Tomorrow, we will be sharing items that being with the letter "A". Please look around your house and see if you can find a small item that can come to school for the day. Household items are the best, toys can cause too much of a distraction. We will be sharing most Wednesdays; next week will be "B" items.
Here are a few photos of our morning building. We had 5 kids away today (I think the Kindergarten germs are in full force!).
After our calendar time, we played a game that I call "Count Around the Carpet". We take turns counting (today we counted to 5 because we are just learning the game) and the person who says "5" sits down. We keep playing until there is one student standing. The kids did a fantastic job! Maybe we'll count backwards tomorrow!
After recess, we did a little more work with our alphabet books and then put on some reading glasses and practiced reading. Then we took turns reading to the rest of the group.
Scholastic Book Orders came home in home envelopes today. Please read the attached letter for more information. If you have any questions, let me know.
Reminder that tomorrow (and every Wednesday) is 2:00 dismissal.
