Our Day

Please see the preceding post for some reminders about tomorrow.

In your child's home envelope, you will see a weekly schedule.  This is just for your information so you know when things like Music, Library and Gym happen.  Please note that this schedule can change and often does depending on what might be happening on a given day.  But, most of the time, these are the activities that we will be doing in the week.  

Here's a little peek into parts of our day.

Using new materials in interesting and creative ways…exploring the letters of our names.

Such focus and concentration!  Working together side by side, learning from one another.

This student took our pattern learning and created a whole tray of different patterns! 

This morning we worked on drawing a self portrait for our "all about me" display.  We talked about using colours that "make sense" and trying to draw the details of our own faces. The kids worked really hard on these.  I can't wait until they are all finished and I can show you the finished product!

A new centre opened up today…play dough!
