Wow, we are lucky! We got to visit Loutet Farm today and learn all about getting the farm ready for Spring. We removed straw from the garden beds (they don't need to be kept warm anymore) and moved the straw to the walkways in between the beds. We looked at the garlic plants that have been growing since November (and will continue to grow until July) and measured them to see how much they grow in between visits. We also did some weeding to prepare the beds for planting. We had a little tour of the greenhouse and felt how much warmer it was inside. We saw some baby radish plants growing in the greenhouse. They only take one month to grow. I took LOTS of pictures because everything was so interesting. I hope you enjoy looking at our time at the farm…..
