Jump Rope For Heart

we went into the gym this afternoon for Jump Rope For Heart. The grade7s led us through some activities and once we got over our fear of the big kids, we had a lot of fun!

Jump Rope For Heart pledge sheets and money are due back to the school next Friday at the latest.

Happy "Valentimes!" day

This morning was bustling with excitement  as we delivered all of our cards.

We had to do a lot of reading.

Matching the names on the cards to the names on the bags.

We worked together (we had to use a few strategies before asking the teacher...ask a friend, make a guess and then check, look at the names on the table, look at the first letter)

Lots of asking to make sure

We changed rest and read time to rest and Valentine time today. We had time to look through all of our cards and messages of kindness. I heard a lot of kids saying thank you to one another (music to my ears!)
