Planting Seeds

Today, we spent some time looking closely at seeds and trying to match them to the plants that they will grow into. It was amazing how many of them the kids figured out! There was a lot of conversation and connections being made and it was music to my ears!

In the afternoon, we each chose 6 plants that we would like to try and grow. We used the soil that we prepared yesterday and planted the seeds. Then we very carefully watered each seed.

T Sharing and Getting Ready to Plant

Our first T sharing this morning: a dad with a T name and a T job, a tugboat driver!

We got ready to plant some seeds today. We filled little planting trays with soil. Tomorrow, after examining the seeds, we will choose the 6 that we would like to plant. 2 Kids learned what to do first and then they showed the rest of the class what to do.

Some great building
