Tennis

We went into the gym for our second tennis lesson on Friday. The Brooksbank PAC has paid for all of our student to have 6 tennis lessons with Marcus (the man in this picture). He is teaching us skills that help us learn how to control a ball and racket (and he's pretty funny too!)

Next week, we will have tennis on Monday, Tuesday and Friday and we will be sharing items that start with the letter J on Wednesday.

I Sharing and Painting

We have started talking about animals in winter, reading stories and sharing information that we already know. Today we started an art project. We sponge painted caves to prepare for hibernating animals. I tried my best to get a photo of each student painting, but while I was reading one of the stories, I missed one or two kids as they painted. Sorry!

Happy New Year!

Hello and welcome back to school after what I hope was a lovely break! I'm out of practice and didn't manage to take any photos today. The kids seem to have settled back into classroom routines like stars!

We had "vision, hearing and dental screening" today. The results came home in your child's home envelope today. Please make sure you take a look. I do not receive the results.

Tomorrow will be I sharing (instead of today because I forgot to send a reminder home!). Please help your child find a household item beginning with I to share with us tomorrow. We will resume our regular Wednesday sharing day next week with J.
