Awesome Artwork!

Some pretty great motorcycle building.

We have been working on some art over the past few days. We have been talking a lot about fall and what kinds of changes we see in fall and then we painted some fall leaves. We used watercolour paper and watercolour paints, and blended all the fall colours together to make some spectacular leaves! They are hanging in the classroom, come and take a look when you get a chance.

On Friday, we learned how to draw a scarecrow, following step by step instructions. We were really excited to see how differently each one turned out. This is just the first step, we are going to paint these next week. Keep your eye out for the finished masterpieces.

Mrs. McGalddery has been exploring shapes with the class and together they created some impressive shape art! So fantastic!

Reminder, there is no school on Monday, it's Thanksgiving! I hope you all have a lovely weekend with friends, family and loved ones.

Looking ahead, October 19 is a provincial professional day, there is no school for students that day.
