Some morning building
Today, we built patterns with kids! We decided to post some pictures and see if the parents could figure out our pattern. The top picture is the start of the pattern and the bottom picture is how it looked at the end when we put everyone in it....we had to include some adults too!
We were the end of the pattern but had to take a selfie because we couldn't all fit in the last photo.
Here's a new pattern (hint...arms)
and another one (hint....legs)
Then we learned to build different patterns, like this one: blue, yellow, yellow, blue, yellow, yellow.
Some kids took it a step further and did a pattern that was different like this one: yellow,blue, orange, yellow, blue, orange!
Then we built a class pattern, each taking a turn adding a block, reading the pattern after each new block was added.
