Bursting With Pride!

We had our Remembrance Day assembly today and these kids made me ooze with pride!

Our friends who are part of the scouts and guides lined the hallways as we entered the gym.

The class was so respectful during the entire assembly. It was a long time to be sitting and they were amazing!

Some of the decorations in the gym.

Mrs. Schwartzbach (our Music teacher who is currently on maternity leave) came to play the trumpet during the assembly.

One class recited "In Flanders Fields"

Here was the highlight of the assembly! This class was amazing. We stood up in front of the entire school and recited our poem with big clear voices. We don't clap after performances during the Remembrance Day assembly, but if I could have, I would have been cheering more loudly than I've ever cheered before. Please let your child know how proud we all are of him/her.

At the end of the assembly, 2 students from every class pinned a poppy on a wreath.
