We had a visit from Lucy today from the North Shore Black Bear Society came and talked to us about bears and how to stay safe if we ever encounter a bear. She told us about the different kinds of bears that live around here. Did you know that black bears can be brown, blond, cinnamon and white too?

We also had an earthquake drill this afternoon, the kids did a fantastic job of staying calm and quiet and following the safety procedures!
