Well, I'm happy to report that today was less eventful than yesterday.
Coming home in your child's home envelope is a letter from Vancouver Coastal Health. They will be coming to Brooksbank to do Kindergarten hearing, vision and dental screening in December and January. This letter will tell you more about it. Please look for it tonight.

The fallen tree was chopped up and removed today. We talked about how sometimes when bad things happen, we can look on the bright side and find something positive. The people who removed the tree were very kind and chopped some pieces for our classroom. I'm going to wait for the wood to dry out for a while and then we'll sand it (maybe I will, maybe the kids will….I'll have to wait and see how "slivery" it is) and then we use the pieces in the classroom.
Finally, we finished our reindeer pictures today. The kids worked so hard on them and I think they turned out so well. They are up on the board in our classroom. Please come in and take a look! We've got three kids who just need to finish theirs when they return to school.
