We had a few minutes of free ball play in the gym this morning. It was really interesting to see how the kids' play has evolved since the beginning of Kindergarten. There were many kids who worked together to come up with a game to play. Many worked on practicing a particular skill.

a five person game involving rolling the ball
trowing against the wall and catching
Also this morning, we worked on some literacy stations. This one was counting syllables in words.
This one was practicing our printing, however we chose to practice.
Here, we were matching word pictures with their beginning sound letters.
Here, we were matching word pictures with another word that had the same beginning sound.
this afternoon, we walked up to Loutet park for a little play. We looked for signs of spring along the way and we found some!
