Happy 100th Day of School

Today, we celebrated the 100th day of school!

We started the day in 4 small teams. The challenge was for each team to build one structure using 100 cups. We had to come up with a plan and work together to make the plan happen.

As we built, our plans changed.

A successful structure and a great pose!

I saud "let me take your photo" and this is how they decided to pose for the camera (LOVE!)

another successful structure, we decided it looked a lot like a whale!

milliseconds before I took this photo, someone bumped the bottom cup and it started to fall, but they successfully built a structure with all 100 cups

Then, after recess, we made 100 day necklaces. We counted 10 groups of 10 and made markers every time we reached a 10. So much counting!

A few more projects.

Our finished necklaces!

Later we went outside and jumped 100 times.

One more project.

And now, looking into the future, here are some pictures of what we might look like when we are 100 years old!

What a great day celebrating all things 100!
