Just a few notes for this week:
Tomorrow we will be having a lockdown drill at 11:00. My message to the kids is that we do drills such as these to make sure we are all safe at school, just like we do fire drills and earthquake drills. I don't go into any details beyond that.
Wednesday is Pink Shirt Day. I know some information was sent home from the school already. If you need more information, please send me an email. Please don't go to any expense for the day. I'm sure there are pink shirts around that can be shared. And I always tell kids that pink shirts are their choice.
Because Wednesday will be busy with pink shirts, we will not be doing sharing. Our next sharing day is on March 7th and it will be the letter P.
I will not be at school on Thursday this week. I will be helping to supervise the school's ski program so the class will have a teacher on call that day.
This Friday is our Jump Rope for Heart event. All pledge forms are due that day!
Looking ahead to next week...
On Monday the 5th, I will also be away at a conference, the class will have a Teacher on Call.
On the 6th, we are scheduled to visit Loutet Garden again. Kids will need to be dressed for the weather.
March 6, 7, and 8th are all 2:00 dismissal days as conferences will be taking place. An email came home about that this morning. Thanks to all of you who have already signed up.

In the gym today, we practiced jumping with a rope. The kids persevered and gave it a great effort!
We are SO lucky to have Ms Frogley work in our class. She is a phenomenal yoga teacher and she shared yoga with us this morning.
