Greater than, less than and compound words

We added a daily graph to our calendar routine today.  Each day, there will be a new question.  The answers to some questions will be opinions (like today's: What is your favourite playground activity?), other days will have a correct answer (i.e. What colour are your eyes?).  We are learning how to read the information on a graph and how to compare that information.

Then we used our bodies to practice the concepts of greater, less, greatest and least.  Ask your child if he/she can show you the difference.

Also today, we revisited compound words and sang the compound word boogie (you can find it on youtube if you'd like to check it out) and then illustrated some of our own compound words.
